City Financial Investment, the London-based independent fund manager, has appointed Tim Short as chief risk officer.

Short, with more than 18 years’ experience in the fund management industry, has held senior risk and fund management roles at a number of firms, including Rivercrest Capital, M&G Investments and Société Générale Asset Management.

In other recent developments, last month City Financial Investment confirmed that it has been appointed by OPM Fund Management as manager of its fund range. As part of this arrangement, City Financial will acquire OPM Fund Management.
