Change At The Helm Of Natixis Global Asset Management

The chief executive of Natixis Global AM is taking on a new role at the firm's parent company.

Jean Raby is taking the reins as chief executive of Natixis Global Asset Management from Pierre Servant.

Servant, who is based in Paris, is assuming a newly-created role as senior advisor to Natixis' CEO, Laurent Mignon.

Also based in Paris, Raby will be in charge of asset management, private banking and private equity for Natixis Global AM.

A dual Canadian and French citizen, he began his career in 1989 as a corporate lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell in New York and Paris. He worked at Goldman Sachs from 1996 until 2013, when he joined Alcatel-Lucent as executive vice president and chief financial and legal officer. Most recently, he served as CFO at SFR, the French telecommunications company.

Meanwhile, media reports said David Giunta has been promoted to president and CEO of Natixis Global Asset Management for the US and Canada, taking over from John Hailer.
