Carmignac To Launch 10 UK-Based Funds

Carmignac Gestion, a French asset management firm that recently launched an office in London, is to unveil 10 UK funds in the second half of this year, a spokesperson has confirmed to WealthBriefing.

The firm will open five equity funds with sterling share classes, consisting of: Carmignac Investissement, Carmignac Grande Europe, Carmignac Emergents, Carmignac Emerging Discovery and Carmignac Commodities.

Additionally, three diversified funds - Carmignac Patrimoine, Carmignac Emerging Patrimoine and Carmignac Market Neutral - and two fixed income funds - Carmignac Global Bond and Carmignac Cash Plus - will be offered.

The funds will be distributed in the UK via wealth managers, family offices, private banks, IFAs and institutions.

Carmignac Gestion was established in 1989 and has almost €50 billion ($66 billion) in assets, with subsidiaries in Luxembourg and Frankfurt, as well as offices in Madrid, Milan and London.
