A strategic alliance has formed between the oldest compliance consultancy in London and an American one.

CCL, the international governance, risk and compliance consultancy, has concluded a strategic alliance with Ascendant Compliance Management, a sizeable US compliance and regulatory services firm that has offices in Connecticut, New York and California. They have resolved to work together to "offer a seamless service to clients." Ascendant provides regulatory compliance consulting services to investment managers, broker-dealers, hedge funds and private equity firms.

Ralph Lindeyer, the chairman of CCL said that the alliance "allows us to offer our clients with US operations the same level of service that they have come to expect from CCL’s other offices."
