Bedell Trust Ramps Up Family Office Service With New Team

Bedell Trust, the Jersey-headquartered firm, has bolstered its presence in the family office market by joining forces with Crossland Private Office, a decade-old business in the sector.
CPO, which was set up in 2002, has a team of five specialists who join Bedell Trust from this month for an expanded multi-family office business line called Bedell Family Office. It serves CPO's current family as well as existing and new high net worth clients of Bedell Trust.
The directors of CPO, Ian Slack and Richard Joynt, who have jointly managed CPO, become directors of Bedell Trust and will lead the Bedell Family Office offering.
Slack specialises in the acquisition, management and sales of global property interests, and aviation and marine assets. Joynt has experience in private equity merger and acquisition activity.
The experience of the team includes treasury management, direct involvement in philanthropic interests, management of clients' personal assets and personalised concierge services.
“The opportunities that arise from the CPO team, which possesses significant front-line experience of managing a single family office, joining forces with Bedell means that we can deepen and extend the breadth of services we have available to family office clients,” Nick Crawley, chief executive of Bedell Trust, said in a statement.
Besides Jersey, Bedell Trust has offices in Guernsey, London, Dublin, Geneva and Mauritius. The business provides legal, fiduciary, listing and corporate services.
