Barclays Global Investors is handing over its UK active retail quants fund range to Barclays Wealth Management on 9 November.

The OEIC funds will be available to direct clients and distributors on Barclays Wealth Management’s multi-manager platform on which there are already 30 managers.

Fund picking within the portfolios will be headed by the group's head of research, Gary Dugan.

“This is strategically part of the clarification and consolidation of Barclays Wealth Management’s client proposition,” BGI director Lochan Murphy told WealthBriefing.
