Barclays Wealth Appoints New Director In Guernsey

Barclays Wealth has bolstered its growing wealth advisory division with the appointment of Trevor Kelham as a director and international wealth advisor, based in Guernsey.

Kelham joins from Rothschild Trust Guernsey, where he had been a managing director. Before joining Rothschild at the start of 2009 he had worked for Credit Suisse Trust. He has particular expertise in serving family office clients and the UK intermediary market, along with specialist knowledge regarding intellectual property.

In his new role, which he assumes later this month, Kelham will be responsible for managing private client relationships globally as well as developing new business. He will report to Rick Denton, head of clients and markets within the wealth advisory unit.

Last week Barclays Wealth added to its advisory and investment team in North Asia with two senior appointments.

Chi Lee was named as director, head of active advisory and investment solutions for North Asia. He joined from Bank of Montreal, where he was head of the private bank in Hong Kong and head of wealth management for Asia.

Secondly, Fabian Neo was appointed head of FX advisory, Asia. He joined from Credit Suisse, where he had been regional head of North Asia advisory.

Both now report to Bryan Henning, head of global research and investments for Asia.
