Barclays Head Of Wealth Advisory To Leave

Barclays has confirmed that its head of wealth advisory UK, Philip Smith, is to leave the bank after four years of service.

Prior to joining Barclays, Smith was head of affluent at UBS. Before that, he was a director at AXA and a partner at Scott Goldman Harris.

Earlier this month, Barclays opened a new wealth and investment management office in Sheffield, with further plans to open a series of new offices across the southwestern region of the UK later this year.

Barclays has been shortlisted for awards in the the WealthBriefing Awards 2013 event to be held in London on 2 May.
