Bank Of Singapore Recruits Former Senior Standard Chartered Private Banker

The senior private banker who recently left Standard Chartered with a group of colleagues has resurfaced at Bank of Singapore.

Bank of Singapore today confirmed to this news service that Teresa Lee, who as reported earlier this week had left her senior role at Standard Chartered along with about 10 private bankers, has been appointed. Lee has the role of market head for Greater China.

Lee is based in Hong Kong and reports to Sermon Kwan, Bank of Singapore’s Hong Kong branch chief executive and global market head of Greater China, a spokesperson for BoS told this publication.

The bank did not say how many of Lee's former colleagues at Standard Chartered might be joining.

At Standard Chartered, Lee was managing director, private banking for Hong Kong. She had been at the UK-listed bank since June 2010, based out of Hong Kong.
