BNY Mellon Wealth Management Strengthens Ohio Coverage

BNY Mellon Wealth Management has made two hires to strengthen its coverage of the Ohio market, adding Ronald Ambrogio as regional president and Ron Ulle as senior director of portfolio management for the state.
Based in Cleveland, Ambrogio will steer the firm’s growth in the Ohio market, having overall leadership of its investment management, trust and private banking businesses there. He joins from Key Bank National Association, where he was latterly national sales manager.
Ulle, meanwhile, also based in Cleveland, is responsible for the management of individual, nonprofit, and institutional portfolios. He is the acting team leader for the Ohio portfolio management team and reports to Ambrogio. He was most recently a senior portfolio and regional manager at Key Private Bank.
The wealth manager, which has 26 professionals covering the Ohio area, is planning to add further positions there, growing its presence in Columbus and Cleveland.
"Our focus on serving the needs of wealthy investors starts with attracting and retaining top talent," said Timothy Tully, president of the firm's US Markets-East.
