BNP Paribas WM Names Ex-UBS Man For Taiwan Senior Role

The new joiner has worked in the financial services sector, including wealth management, for more than 15 years.

BNP Paribas Wealth Management has appointed former UBS senior figure Hiko Lee (pictured) as head of investment counselling in Taiwan, effective yesterday, this news service can confirm. 

Lee will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall investment advisory strategy, building and maintaining strong partnerships with relationship managers, and overseeing the delivery of holistic and tailored investment advice to clients, according to a memo by the bank. 

In his new role, Lee reports to John Lee, head of investment services Taiwan at BNP Paribas Wealth Management. 

Lee has more than 15 years’ experience in investment banking, wealth management, and asset management. Most recently, he was director, head of active portfolio advisory at UBS Taipei Branch. Prior to rejoining UBS in 2024, he was vice president, head of institutional sales department at Taishin Securities Limited.
