BNP Paribas Tight-Lipped On Story About Wealth Planning Resignation

The bank has declined to comment on whether its employee, who has worked at the company since 2012, has reportedly resigned from his post.

BNP Paribas Wealth Management has remained tight-lipped on reports stating its APAC regional head of wealth planning is set to leave the bank.

Local media reports in Asia have said that Berry Wong has resigned from his post to pursue opportunities outside the industry.

Wong, who joined the firm in 2012, was responsible for the development, strategy and organisation of the lender’s wealth planning solutions.

A spokesperson for the bank declined to comment on the matter.

Prior to BNP Paribas, Wong was with HSBC Private Bank, where he was a senior director of wealth planning based in Hong Kong.
