Australian Robo-Wealth Firm Names Advice Head

This publication carries latest news of moves and appointments in the Asian wealth management industry.

Australia-based robo-advisor firm Ignition Wealth has created a new division to support its XPLAN financial planning solution, and has appointed Rob Corben as head of advice to lead this business area.

The firm, located in Sydney, has joined forces with XPLAN customisation specialists PlanFocus to form the new division that Corben leads. His title will be head of advice, a statement from the firm said yesterday.

“We believe the true scale of digital advice is best delivered by integrating with the tools with which advisors are already comfortable,” said Mark Fordree, chief executive of Ignition Wealth.

Corben has over 20 years of specialist advice technology development and integration experience.
