Australian Big-Four Bank Makes Top-Flight Wealth Appointment

NAB Private Wealth, the wealth management subsidiary of National Australia Bank, announces senior appointment.

National Australia Bank, one of Australia's Big Four banks, has announced a senior hire for its private wealth arm.

Effective immediately, Christine Yates joins the firm as executive general manager for NAB Private Wealth. In this role, she will be responsible for client management across the private wealth market, including migrant banking and wealth services.

Yates was previously the EGM for NAB's Global Financial Institutions Group & International, where she led the relationship team covering banks, diversified financials, sovereign wealth funds, central banks and insurance companies. She also managed the company's London and New York office. Prior to that, she was managing director of debt market origination, leading the loan syndication and Australian debt capital markets teams.

NAB Private Wealth was introduced in Asia in May 2013 as part of plans to expand the company's coverage beyond Australia and New Zealand. It currently operates in Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan.
