Asteron Life Launches Reality Show To Help Boost Financial Advisors' Marketing Skills

Australia and New Zealand insurer Asteron Life launches a new reality show aimed at boosting financial advisors' marketing skills.
Asteron Life, the life insurance provider to financial advisors in Australia and New Zealand, has launched a reality TV show with the goal of boosting the marketing skills of members of the advisory industry.
The TV series, titled "Boost," is an industry first, said the firm in a statement. It will feature six parts and will run from 2 April to 22 May. It can be viewed online at the Boost website.
The six episodes will showcase various tools too boost advisors' marketing skills, including how to build a brand, improve a website, connect with clients through content marketing, develop cost-effective video marketing, use blogging to drive client conversations and maximize sponsorships. By watching all six and answering three questions in the Boost e-book, advisors can earn up to six CPD points in total.
"Marketing a small business doesn't have to be a Hollywood production. It's about taking a professional approach through smarter marketing, and helping advisors compete at the big end of town," said Mark Vilo, executive manager of Asteron Life.
The show's contestants are Stuart Carter and Anthony Brown, directors of Brisbane-based Medico Legal Insurance Group, which is part of the Millenium3 Group.
