Asiaciti Trust Names Singapore MD

The family-run trust business has tapped Swiss private banking talent to lead its next phase of growth.
Asiaciti Trust has appointed Ross Belhomme as managing director of its Singapore office, bringing private client trust and fiduciary services experience, the firm said.
Belhomme has relocated from Europe, where he was managing director of Alvarium Investment’s fiduciary business and a director of Geneva-based Guggenheim Investment Partners. Prior to that, he held positions at US and UK banking and financial services firms, including JP Morgan and HSBC, according to his public profile. Belhomme's LinkedIn profile indicates that he joined Asiaciti's executive board last September and is working with the Briggs family in Singapore to create global legal solutions for private clients and corporations. The family-owned trusts and fiduciary services group was was founded 40 years ago by Graeme W Briggs.
Asiaciti chief executive Jerome Briggs said that Belhomme “will bring immense value to our clients as he leads our Singapore office in its next phase of growth.”
The group also operates in Hong Kong, the Cook Islands, Dubai, Nevis, New Zealand, Panama and Samoa, serving individuals, intermediaries and corporations.
In the last couple of years, Belhomme has graduated from IE Law School’s inaugural legal and technology LLM programme and attended Harvard Business School’s debut programme on private equity and venture capital. He holds a law degree from the University of London and is deputy chairman of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioner’s (STEP’s) digital assets steering committee.
