Arbuthnot Latham Officially Opens Dubai Office, Names Four Senior Bankers

Arbuthnot Latham & Co, the private banking and wealth management arm of the Arbuthnot Banking Group has officially opened Arbuthnot Latham & Co’s new international office in Dubai.
Arbuthnot Latham & Co, the private
banking and wealth management arm of the Arbuthnot Banking Group,
announced that
the governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre,
Abdulla
Mohammed Saleh, officially opened Arbuthnot Latham & Co’s new
international
office in Dubai.
As reported by this publication, Arbuthnot
Latham established its first international office in Dubai back
in May of this year.
“We chose Dubai as our first international
office due to our extensive knowledge and experience of the
region and a genuine
need in the local market for exceptional private banking and
wealth management
services,” said Arbuthnot Latham’s chief executive, James
Fleming.
DIFC has served as a platform for a number of
UK-based firms to service clients across the Middle East, Africa
and South
Asia. We are delighted to welcome Arbuthnot Latham to Dubai and
to the growing
network of financial and professional services firms based in
DIFC, and look
forward to contribute to the firm’s growth and global expansion,”
said Mohammed Saleh, when welcoming Arbuthnot Latham to DIFC.
At the same time, Arbuthnot
Latham has announced the appointment of four senior bankers to
support
their Dubai operation. Paul Donovan and Kieran McDonnell,
formerly of Coutts,
have been appointed as directors and Giles Hanson and Peter
Casey, formerly of
HSBC and Barclays, have been appointed as associate directors.
In addition, Clare Doyle, Frances White and
David Smith have been appointed as private banking executives to
support client
and banking operations for the Dubai office.
