Arbuthnot Latham & Co, the private banking and wealth management arm of the Arbuthnot Banking Group has officially opened Arbuthnot Latham & Co’s new international office in Dubai.

Arbuthnot Latham & Co, the private
banking and wealth management arm of the Arbuthnot Banking Group, announced that
the governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre, Abdulla

office in Dubai.

As reported by this publication, Arbuthnot
Latham established its first international office in Dubai back in May of this year.

“We chose Dubai as our first international

services,” said Arbuthnot Latham’s chief executive, James Fleming.

DIFC has served as a platform for a number of
UK-based firms to service clients across the Middle East, Africa and South
Asia. We are delighted to welcome Arbuthnot Latham to Dubai and to the growing
network of financial and professional services firms based in DIFC, and look
forward to contribute to the firm’s growth and global expansion,” said Mohammed Saleh, when welcoming Arbuthnot Latham to DIFC.

At the same time, Arbuthnot
Latham has announced the appointment of four senior bankers to support
their Dubai operation. Paul Donovan and Kieran McDonnell, formerly of Coutts,
have been appointed as directors and Giles Hanson and Peter Casey, formerly of
HSBC and Barclays, have been appointed as associate directors.
