Amundi Names Head Of Investment, Asia
The new head of investment started his career at Amundi in New York in 2010 on the alternative investment platform.
Amundi has appointed Florian Neto as head of investment, Asia. He is a member of the Asia executive committee and other regional and global investment committees which define macro and asset class views.
Based in Hong Kong, he will be responsible for overseeing Amundi’s investment activities across the region, excluding Japan. Neto will still be directly responsible for Amundi’s multi asset platform in Asia. He is also lead/co-lead portfolio manager of a range of open-ended funds and institutional multi-asset mandates for Asian clients, as well as leading the outsourced CIO function for Asian clients, offering institutional clients a variety of fully customisable solutions.
From 2022, he was head of investment, Hong Kong and Taiwan and head of multi asset, Asia. Neto started his career at Amundi in New York in 2010 on the alternative investment platform before joining the multi-asset investment team in 2015.
Neto holds a master of science in risk and asset management and a master’s degree in management from EDHEC Business School. Since 2015, he has been a CFA Charterholder.
