The expansion into Japan allows the firm to offer its range of corporate services in the country, showing that it believes that opportunities exist in Japan for international companies post-COVID.
Alpadis Group, the Switzerland-based firm which provides multi-jurisdictional corporate and bespoke fiduciary services, has opened a new office in Tokyo to extend its range of services to local and international clients in the country.
Alpadis Japan will be headed by Martial Meyssignac, managing director of Alpadis Japan, (pictured) who has over three decades of experience representing multinational clients in Japan.
“Establishing Alpadis Group in Tokyo is very exciting. With offices throughout Asia as well as Switzerland and the Middle East, we will benefit from Alpadis Group’s deep bench of experts and wide network,” Meyssignac, said.
“Japan is a wonderful country for a number of reasons. It is the world’s third largest economy with a strong commercial and industrial base that attracts significant foreign investment,” Alain Esseiva, chief executive officer of Alpadis Group, said.
“For many international companies, though, Japan can seem impenetrable with administrative and regulatory complexities compounded by a difficult language barrier. By working with Martial and his team, Alpadis Group provides multilingual support to international companies, from Europe, USA, Asia and other regions, along with a deep understanding of the local Japanese market.”
The move follows the opening of an office in Dubai last month. The company also has offices in Switzerland, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
Alpadis Japan will provide corporate services including company formation, accounting, corporate secretarial, tax, HR and payroll, employer record and regulatory compliance, among others. Between them, the team of eight speak English, Japanese, French and Spanish.
Private clients can benefit from the company’s years of experience protecting and preserving wealth. It assists wealthy individuals with wealth planning and asset structuring, trusts and foundations, charities and philanthropy, family office services, family governance advisory, and relocation services.
