Advent Launches A Third Office In Asia

Advent Software has launched a new office in Singapore, adding to its existing Asian operations in Hong Kong and Beijing.

The new office will support users of Geneva, Advent’s global portfolio management and fund accounting platform, and Tamale RMS, its research management system.

“We have experienced tremendous momentum in Asia, having doubled our client base in the region in the past 12 months. The Singapore office will help accommodate this increased momentum… This move demonstrates Advent’s commitment to the region and allows us to better serve the diverse needs of our expanding customer base,” Peter Hess, president of Advent, said in a statement.

In another recent development at Advent, at the end of March the firm announced its acquisition of Goya, a privately-owned Norwegian software provider. Through the deal Advent can now offer Goya’s Tradex product, a web-based fund distribution platform which automates order flows from initiation to back-office, and between distributors and fund managers.
