AMP Capital names a new head for its fixed income team.

AMP Capital has announced the appointment of a new fixed income head.

Simon Warner, head of macro markets within the fixed income team, takes over from Mark Beardow, who was named chief investment officer of Specialist Investment Teams in December 2013. Warner brings 17 years of industry experience to this role, mostly in the global fixed income and currency portfolios areas. 

AMP has made several appointments to its Asia team in the past months as part of expansion efforts in the region. These include Tim Keegan as head of SMSF, Sean Henaghan as head of multi-manager and investment solutions and Helen Livesey as director for brand and marketing.
