ACA signs training agreement with Dubai

The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Academy has signed an agreement with the International Compliance Association (ICA), the global regulatory and financial crime compliance training body, to develop skills in the region by offering courses to to citizens and residents of the United Arab Emirates.

The agreement is designed to equip local talent with the latest knowledge and skills they need. The ICA says that it has been 'present' in the United Arab Emirates for the last 12 years. Its courses will include localised content in many cases, along with instruction about international best practice.

This collaboration comes at a time of economic reform and an acceleration of regulatory change in the UAE. The next generation of talent in compliance is on the way, according to the head of the DIFC Academy.
