Pioneer Investments Hires Iberian Country Head
US fund manager Pioneer Investments has appointed Sophie del
Campo as country head for
Spain and
Portugal, reporting to Jose Castellano, head of
Spain,
Portugal and
Latin America.
She will take over a team of seven people and will have the overall responsibility for serving existing clients and acquiring new business in a range of segments from institutional, private banks and distribution networks.
Ms del Campo was prviously head of sales for Credit Agricole
Asset Management in
Madrid. Prior to that, she worked with
ING Group and Deloitte Consulting Group in
Paris.
Mr
Castellano said: "We are committed to a long-term strategy
in
Spain
and
Portugal.
We have confidence that Sophie will deliver the right product
strategy and the best quality service to our customers. We have a
firm belief that we now have the right ingredients to
differentiate ourselves in these challenging markets where the
