Macquarie Private Wealth continues to build its presence in New Zealand with the announcement of three new staff to join its retail advisory team in Auckland. Macquarie veteran and former New Zealand Herald business editor Richard Inder joins the Auckland team after 14 years covering financial markets in NZ and Europe. South African born and educated Rob Hawkins joins Macquarie as an associate partner, emigrating to NZ from the UK where he was most recently a private client advisor with London broker Killick & Co. The third appointment is of Mark Martin, who will work as an advisor to senior advisors. Mr Martin has returned to NZ after six years in London where he worked for a range of major international banks, including UBS, HSBC and Deutsche Bank.
