BlackRock Australia Adds Three Senior Execs

BlackRock Australia has appointed three senior executives to its team in a bid to bolster its business in the region, reports the Financial Standard. The firm, whose global headquarters are in New York, has appointed Pru Bennett as head of corporate governance, Henry Capra as new chief operating officer and Orla Fisk as senior compliance officer, according to the newswire. Capra previously served as the chief financial officer for AMP Captial and also worked for wealth manager Colonial First State as CFO and COO. Bennett formerly worked for Regnan Governance Research and Engagement in compliance and investor relations, prior to which he was at CGI Glass Lewis and Qantas Airways. Fisk joins from positions at Challenger Financial Services, Zurich Capital Markets Asia and most recently Genesys Wealth Advisers.
