Wealth Management Recruiter Opens Singapore Office
Gibson Tullberg, the wealth management headhunter, which already has offices in London and Switzerland, is opening a Singapore office this month to serve Far East markets, this publication has learned.
The office will be run by Jessica Torres Schernthaner, who has relocated from London to run the new practice and will be supported by co-partner Matilda Gibson-Tullberg.
The expansion follows the firm's formal move into the Swiss market in 2009. The business is now headquartered in Geneva.
Tim Gibson-Tullberg, partner at the eponymous firm, said the decision to open in the Far East follows the “rush” to the region by a number of firms a few years earlier.
"The market is now maturing and has responded well to our approaches. It seeks specialist skill sets and international reach...we offer both with our seasoned and capable team in three major international hubs,” he said.
"We have identified the migration of international assets around the world. The clients' assets are moving and so are the people who serve them. We need to have people in the right place," he said. "It is a huge market out there. It [the new office] is a new stepping-up point for us."
