EXCLUSIVE: Credit Suisse Brings Over Senior Indonesia Private Banker From Rival

Credit Suisse has appointed a former senior Standard Chartered manager to be managing director and deputy market group head/market leader for Indonesia, effective in July, taking over from Young Jin Yee who now is market group head for Singapore, this publication understands.

Torsten Linke will report to the market group head for Indonesia, Johanes Oeni, and support in managing all the core teams of relationship managers in the Indonesia market.

At Standard Chartered, Linke was the market manager for Indonesia, based in Singapore. He has 30 years’ experience in private banking in Asia and Europe, across leadership, client relationship management, products and advisory roles. Prior to Standard Chartered Private Bank, Linke spent more than 20 years at Deutsche Bank, mainly in its private wealth management business.
