Liechtenstein's LGT Sponsors Major Art Exhibition In Singapore

More than 90 masterpieces from the exquisite art collection of the
Prince of Liechtenstein will be travelling to Singapore for the first time, highlighting the growing appetite for Western art works in the Asian region.

Collected over a period of 500 years, significant works by
important Flemish artists such as Rubens and Anthony van Dyck, as well as those
by other renowned European masters, Raphael, Rembrandt and Canaletto, will be
showcased at the National Museum of Singapore. LGT Private Banking is the
principal sponsor.

Intensive restoration work was carried out on a number of the
works to prepare them for this exhibition. The exhibition comes at a time when LGT Private
Bank has served its Asian clients from offices in Hong Kong and Singapore, for
over 25 years.

The exhibition "Princely Treasures from the House of
Liechtenstein" at the National Museum of Singapore, starts on 27 June.

A number of large European banking groups are sponsors of such
arts events, such as UBS, which recently renewed its support for the Art Basel organisation
– that takes in Hong Kong as one of its locations – and Credit Suisse, among
others.
