First Sentier Group
First
Sentier Group, a global asset management organisation, has
appointed Belinda Webber (pictured below) as chief people officer
(CPO), effective 31 August. Based in Sydney, she will join the
executive committee and report to chief executive officer, Harry
Moore.

Her appointment follows the decision of the current chief people and culture officer, Adele Swan, to step down following the relocation of the CPO role from Edinburgh to Sydney, where the CEO is based. The relocation is intended to strengthen engagement and collaboration between the CEO and the group’s people leadership function.
Webber will play an important role in shaping the group’s people strategy, supporting the development of a more connected, high-performing and client-focused organisation, it said. She will work with senior leaders across the business to attract, develop and retain talent globally.
Webber formerly served as group executive, chief human resources officer at Rabobank, where she was responsible for HR and corporate affairs across Australia and New Zealand. She has more than 25 years of experience and a strong track record in leading complex projects, transformation initiatives and culture improvements, and championing employee engagement. Prior to Rabobank, Webber held senior leadership positions at Commonwealth Bank, PepsiCo, Microsoft and ANZ Bank.
“Belinda is a highly experienced and respected leader with deep expertise in building high-performing businesses,” Moore said. “Her track record in aligning people strategy to business outcomes will be critical as we continue to invest in our people and deliver on our long-term growth ambitions.”
