Who's Moving Where In Wealth Management? – Citigroup
The latest senior wealth management moves in the Asia-Pacific region.
Citigroup
Citi Australia and New Zealand made a number of appointments in
its research and markets businesses, including Paul Buys as head
of research for Australia and New Zealand.
Buys will be joining from Canaccord Genuity, where he is research head. Before this, Buys was deputy head of Asia-Pacific Securities Research for Credit Suisse. He will be appointed as managing director and sit on the Australian and New Zealand executive committee.
Buys will succeed the existing holder of the role, Paul
McTaggart, who will be retiring at the end of the year after
a 30-year career in sell-side research.
Such roles feed into the ideas that are shared across the US
banking group, including its wealth and private banking
businesses.
Citigroup has made other hires and a promotion in its markets business.
