South Korean Investment, Securities House Inks Pact In Singapore

Alta Exchange provides a range of investment options, and are tailored for clients including family offices and HNW individuals.

NH Investment & Securities, a South Korean investment and securities firms, has signed a pact with Singapore-headquartered AltaX, a digital securities exchange for alternative assets. The move bridges North and Southeast Asia’s market for such assets, the firms said.

By signing this memorandum of understanding, the partnership will also see NH I&S join as a member firm of Alta Exchange.

Under terms of the MoU, NH I&S and Alta Exchange will explore how to use Alta Exchange’s blockchain-powered exchange to enhance liquidity and efficiency of financial markets through asset tokenization.

NH I&S investors can gain access to Alta Exchange’s curated range of investment opportunities, including global private companies, private equity credit funds, and real assets such as rare whisky and wines.

These opportunities, traded on Alta Exchange’s digital securities exchange, are tailored for high net worth individuals, institutional investors, and family offices, the organisations said in a statement.

NH I&S is joining Alta Exchange’s existing partners: Singapore-based broker Phillip Securities, corporate finance firm PrimePartners and investment bank Evolve Capital.
